A sociological satire of a neighborhood in the throws of battle! Battle between the native American dwellers along Colorow Dr. and rich white settlers raising land prices to force the Indians out of their cave. Kids such as those in the film actually do party and destroy the Native Americans' secret cave hideout! This movie is the only media that tells the true story of willowbrook and the suffering the native Americans are currently experiencing in the "sub."
The pent up sexual tension between main characters Genesee and Patton is reflected in that between Chris and Stock Exchange, eluding how stock exchange received such a provocative name. This is a classic example of the frustration felt by teens and 20-somethings throughout the willowbrook region, and it is integrated very subtly into the fabric of this great film. In fact, I consider this the best film ever made in willowbrook!
