In this tense, stunning short we follow a girl named Nicky, when her Mum dies in a car crash her Dad turns to drink. Inevitably the more he drinks the more he abuses his daughter both mentally and physically. As the beatings get worse the whole atmosphere gets tenser as you know something's going to explode,

The combination of slow motion while Nicky is being beaten and the haunting soundtrack honestly gave me goose-bumps...you actually feel every punch and kick it's that realistic!!
Out of Reach provides a unique mixture of action and music in such a short space of time and I look forward to watching more from this up and coming director.
