Fun is the only word I can use to describe it

This is "the" Hulk game. All other Hulk games will have to bow down to this one. This game as does every other game here lately basically takes the sandbox formula of GTA and throws the Hulk into the mix. It does have a decent plot. It's not top notch, but the bulk of the game is focused on the game play.

The game play lets you roam between two areas. A desert military base and a city. You can pretty much do anything. There is a slew of mini in both areas games that gives you and the Hulk something do besides walk around aimlessly triggering the story missions and terrorizing the people and police. They are all fun. Some more so than others of course. What makes the game play even more fun is that the Hulk controls great. He isn't to clunky and all his moves serve him well in my opinion.

My only complaints is that it does feel a bit short though and the game play can get repetitive sometimes outside of mini games and story, but that's rare.

There is only one to describe this game. That's fun. Who couldn't get any fun out of taking a light pole and batting a cow a hundred feet across a wasteland?

Lots of destruction to this one!

This Hulk video game is better than its predecessor, but still not as good as it can be. I know the makers want to make the game challenging, but I found this one a bit to challenging on more than one occasion. This one has the Hulk capable of going to a couple of cities and doing some things that are not really in the Hulk's vast array of talents, such as running up buildings and stuff. It is fun running around destroying things, but to often the military shows up and they have some really powerful weaponry. I am sorry, but the Hulk is supposed to be the supreme powerhouse and he heals faster than Wolverine for crying out loud so it was annoying how challenging things were in this one. I want to overpower all! Instead I was constantly having trouble with the various enemies and those missions where you had to grab something and take it back to your base had me cussing up a storm. Still, overall this was a really fun game and I liked it a lot. Never won it though as Abomination proved to be just to tough for me as I tried to fight him a ton of times in a row and always fell short. Still, this game was cool and for the most part it was fun just a bit to tough for my tastes. That and it is the Hulk, I am sorry but I would rather just smash all my opponents to death!

Best Game in The Past 10 Years
Clark_Kentinator13 August 2006
I'm not an avid gamer. The last game that I played more than once was The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past on Super Nintendo. I bought my daughter a game cube last Christmas and we rented The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction early this year. I liked the game so much that we bought a used copy of the game from Block Buster. It's free roaming style like Grand Theft Auto. So there are multiple things to do besides missions. Once you've completed the game, which takes about a week, if you play three-four hours a day, you can play as the villain. Also once you've collected comic books (pretty much a useless item), you unlock codes that allow you play to play the Hulk in various different shorts, costumes. Once you've collected all the comics, you can play as the original Gray Hulk and as Savage Banner (looks like bruce banner with all of Hulks strengths). Overall a great game that you can play until you beat it, take a couple months break from it and beat it again and again.

a Hulk Smash

This free-roaming Hulk game a la the recent 2 Spider-Man games, is just such a blast to play. Reasonably tight controls, a vast array of moves in your arsenal (after you buy most of them) and great voice acting. Donnie Wahlberg as Samson, Ron Perlman as The Abomination, and especially Richard Moll as Devil Hulk, who has the funniest (some would say homoerotic) lines, all shine here. As does the one-time Hulk comic book writer Paul Jenkins storyline (for the most part, as the ending leaves something to be desired. Lackluster ending aside, this game is hands down the best Hulk game out there and for added joy after you beat the game you can choose to buy Savage Banner Mode, which is just funny as hell.

My Grade: A great game NEEDS a great ending, so I have to give this one a solid B+
