Attractive lead actress, but that's it Warning: Spoilers
"Alright Love" is an 11-minute short film from 10 years ago and basically a romance with some comedy elements. Sadly, none of this ever really works. The first 7 minutes are about the two protagonists finding each other again after love at first sight on an escalator. The city of Berlin gives them hints on their way to reuniting. It gets quickly repetitive though. And the last 3-4 minutes are like an epilogue in the subway, but it's really more odd than entertaining. Writer and director Samuli Valkama only works in his home country Finland nowadays, the female actress does not really act anymore, at least not in film. And the male lead actor was a huge teen idol back then because of his work on German soap opera "Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten", but his popularity faded quickly as well and these days he only has very minor roles in movies. "Alright Love" has a cute little idea, but it's nothing ordinary and also should have run for seven minutes max, maybe less and ended with the two finding each other. The way it was handled here, I cannot recommend watching it. Good thing for foreign viewers is that there is no spoken dialog in here, so you can watch if you don't know German, but why would you want to. It's not a good movie.
