Warning: Spoilers
The vain Simon Deering (Hot Dogs) is back in the second season (if you could call it that?) of the Up-Late Game Show.

Hot Dogs is back again playing games and giving away cash to Australian's, albeit mostly Western Australia, South Australia, and Northern Territory is disadvantages because of the time difference.

Personally I think the new format of Hot Dogs walking around works better and the Bonus board with the higher or lower numbers is easier to understand.

However it is still fairly easy to win the first game, but the bonus board is pure luck.

But hey, its late night TV for the night owls, and Big Brother Up-Late is not on (YAY no BB!) so enough said.

I wouldn't be up late watching this short lived game show.

I always thought that The Up-Late Game Show was always going to be a short lived series riding off the fame of Big Brother contestant Simon "Hotdogs" Deering. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't like him and his obnoxious personality. If anybody was up late watching this show and actually claimed a prize, well good for them.

If I wasn't asleep and if I was up late at that time back in 2005, I would either be working on an assignment for university, out in the city with mates visiting nightclubs and running amok, or playing videogames.

I was actually in Cairns the night Simon Deering got arrested for urinating outside a nightclub back in July 2005 and was later fined. I thought sucked in to him at the time but upon reflection, everyone makes mistakes and I may have been too harsh.

Fast forward to today and his Big Brother days are all in the past and he is now a well respected real estate agent in Perth as the principal of Simon Deering Property. He has settled down and is happily married with three daughters. Good on him and it's good to see him become a success story away from the media spotlight. I do hope he continues to be successful in everything he does.

As for The Up-Late Game Show, it's a relic of the past and is best long forgotten.

1/10.
