Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The ballet ends with Siegfried and Odette committing suicide by throwing themselves off a cliff. Artistically done and not graphic.
  • At the end, Odette and Prince Siegfred commit suicide by jumping into the lake because Odette would rather die than be doomed to remain a swan forever, and Siegfred does not wish to live without her. Their spirits rise to Heaven. The suicide is very tastefully shown and not frightening at all.
