Why didn't she Freeze him?
thornrosebud18 July 2020
This episode shows how much Kyle is obsessed with the Avatars. Suspicions about Sheridan's whereabouts makes us wonder if Kyle is one of the good guys. The episode also makes us suspicious about the Avatars. What are they up to?

When the demons tricked the Charmed Ones we got a sense that demons run in gangs, like it real life. We know demons don't exactly pal around with each other but The Book of Shadows doesn't usually show "gangs".

The reason I'm writing this review is because any fans of the show would know that Piper can freeze someone, so why didn't she do that in this episode? It just didn't make sense. They should have come up with a different way here. I liked the episode but it was not one of my favorites.

The One Where Everyone Finds Out...

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. It's so awesome. It's such a fantastic episode. The way that the contents on it, never actually happened. Well, they did, but they were erased from nearly everyone's minds.

In this episode, Leo tells Piper that he's an Avatar. She handles it quite well considering what that actually means. She becomes supportive, along with Phoebe. When Paige finds out, she gets so upset and immediately tells Kyle. Since Kyle secretly had one of the last bottles of a potion that will kill any Avatar, he uses it against Leo. Leo is weakened and in the process, Kyle is killed. The Avatars freeze time and tell Leo that he will die and that the entire collective has been weakened. They decide to reverse time, using a lot of their strength and energy, to just before Leo told Piper. Leo agrees, but is upset that he can't tell Piper, because she actually understood.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.

What's the point ?

Warning: Spoilers
Here we go again : the usual "on second thoughts, let's not do that" episode, where everything that has happened during the episode actually gets nullified because of a convenient time-reversal spell. Remember how it was already used as a finale for seasons 1 and 3 ? The thing is, in both episodes the time-reversal spell came at a price (Andy's and Prue's deaths), so that at the end, what had happened still made a difference. On the contrary, at the end of this episode, we're back exactly where we started. To make things even more pointless, the big secret will be out by next episode, so why not spare us a whole meaningless episode and skip directly to the next ?
