Clair is exhausted with balancing motherhood and work, she's tired with working hard, and coming home to deal with the kids. A romantic Cliff decides to treat Clair to a night out, a meal and a night at a fancy hotel.
I think this was my favourite episode so far, I thoroughly enjoyed it, very funny, beautifully observed humour, lots of memorable moments, best of all, that wonderful dinner scene, talk about realistic.
The scenes with the kids were funny, again it's all realistic stuff.
I'm not sure the 1980's was almost the most ....chic or classy or eras, but you can't argue, Phylicia Rashad looks very beautiful, especially at the dinner scene.
Great episode.
8/10.
