Warning: Spoilers
I am a bit too young to possibly remember the first run, being 6 or 7,.but, my folks would have seen it in the original run.

It is one of my favorite episodes, and in 2022 (a few days before New Years) it is an incredible view into a time that to those in it was just as complex and turbulent to them as today is to us.

Obviously the old phone and its disassembly by Rob to us on it's own is funny, the actuall rotary dial is something today's generation has no idea how to operate.

No, its the casual party itself, people gathering, IN SUITS and ties were today that would never happen and pulling such and innocuous joke - that's the beauty of those days.

Kidding the kidder?

During a party, Buddy and his friends are making crank phone calls. One of them calls the unsuspecting Rob at home...and they end up making Rob look like a dope...and he's quite embarrassed. Rob is angry and wants revenge. But the next day, Rob does nothing...and again and again, Buddy expects Rob to do something mean...so much so that Buddy keeps ends up hurting himself! In other words, the best revenge for Rob is doing nothing and letting Buddy and his imagination punish him!

This is the third episode to feature Lennie Weinrib in a supporting role. He was very good here...though his prior appearance, THE SAM POMERANTZ SCANDALS was disappointing. Regardless, this is a very funny episode and one you really need to see.
