The story begins with Rob getting a surprise birthday party. Everything went great...until after everyone leaves, Rob realizes his brand-new watch is missing. After looking and not finding it, he reluctantly thinks perhaps one of the party guests took it...as a joke or because they are secretly evil or a klepto? But the cure is worse than the problem, as when they report it to their insurance company, the investigator is a jerk and begins treating the party guests as if they were guilty...and strains the Petrie's relationships with their friends.
The best thing at the end is the surprise twist involving Sally. Otherwise it's still a pretty good episode and worth seeing.
