Just wild about Harry
kapelusznik188 November 2015
***SPOILERS**** It's when a disheveled and broken down Harry "Hershel" Bernstein, Simon Oakland, dropped into the old neighbor bells started ringing and birds started singing to announced his long awaited return. That's when Harry's long abandoned wife Dolores,Norma Crane, got the word that Harry's back in town after a 15 year absent. Staying at an-a word not in use back in those days in 1963-African/American family's the Jacksons, Royce Wallace & James Edwards, grocery store that he rented a room from Harry was only content to say indoors and sleep it off counting sheep until it was lunch time for him to eat his meals of mostly peanut butter and jelly sandwiches provided from Mr. Jackson's groceries.

It's when Harry, who was suffering from pneumonia, was treated by his family, from way back then in the 1940's, doctor, Muni Seroff, and his identity was revealed that his old lady Dolores who' s been carrying a torch as well as rolling pin for him for the last 15 years came running to his side. Only to find out that he left her and the kids, who wanted nothing at all to do with him, for of all places Cleveland Ohio just to get away from them!

***SPOILERS*** It's super social worker Neil Brock, George C. Scott, who got Delores a job at a local orphanage who took a keen interest in Harry's plight and went out of his way to get him and Dolores together before they both end up in a mental institution. It turned out that Harry was sick and tired of family life and wanted to go west and become a cowboy just like in the movies. The fact that Harry couldn't ride a horse or punch a cow made that impossible dream of his totally unworkable. Stuck in Cleveland in a number of boring jobs after 15 year Harry finally decided to call it quits and go back home where he was despised by everyone except his doting wife Delores for being the first class jerk that he turned out to be. Now with Neil Brock's, God bless the guy, help Harry can find his way back to sanity and stability and finally straighten himself out and of course Dolores can finally get back her Harry.
