Warning: Spoilers
Barney loses his job after Fred shoots his mouth off to Barney's boss. Wilma tells Fred the Rubbles are too proud to ask for help but they're broke. That's why she gave Betty and Barney what Fred thought would be his dinner.

Fred feels bad and takes Barney along as a caddy with an wealthy golfing buddy of Fred's ( a little convenient but not completely out there) . Barney actually helps the man beat Fred as his caddy. The man gives Barney a job but it's repossessing furniture and not in line with Barney's sweet nature. But he needs the job. First assignment? Repossessing Fred's beloved tv. It's supposed to be paid for . It caused a big problem between them even though Barney feels bad about it . Wilma gets after Fred for it and tells Barney no hard feelings. Barney even pays off the set for Fred with and advance on his salary. They make up but now Barney is after the golf clubs still owes money on.

Well written script
vitoscotti23 October 2022
The episode had a good comedic flow with many great tie ins to Barney's predicament all of which were very funny. Classic line by Fred, "Your only friend is a buck and the more bucks you have the more friends you have". Then one by Barney, "Fred really knows finances for being a ditch digger". The golfing scenes were brilliant. I like how Boulder's shot cut through the ground for a hole in one. Barney in the tv with legs out running and speaking inside the tv on screen were highlights even way back watching as a kid. Barney's voice changes quite a bit throughout the episode which seems to always happen. A treat to hear Frank Nelson (Boulder, Rocky Stone). Name didn't ring a bell but his voice and signature yeeeeesssss sure did.

Barney Gets Fired
Jimmy_the_Gent430 October 2021
Barney is fired from his job because of Fred talking to his boss and demanding he get a raise.

An OK episode, some amusing moments. Fred feels guilty so gets a golfing buddy Mr. Boulder to give Barney a job. The job turns out to be a repo man for furniture not paid by deadbeats. The first assignment is Fred's TV set. Fred calls Barney a false friend, they make up later but end up arguing again.
