Funny when celebrities are parodied.

The heavy accent two-bit director, and Gary Granite are memorable when I watched this a a kid. Not a stellar episode but lots of funny bits. Animals are cleverly used as a dishwasher, and a vacuum cleaner. Cary Grant was a popular impression also done by Goober Pyle (The Andy Griffith Show) "Judy, Judy, Judy". Enjoyed Bea Benaderet doing her radio announcer voice. Funny bits when Fred gets beaten up and walks to the monsters demise sinking in the tar pits. Get to hear Mel Blanc do numerous other than Barney voices which is always a treat. His voice talent was really amazing. Will be interesting when Daws Butler replaces Mel Blanc as Barney Rubble for some episodes after Mel Blanc's car accident.

A Movie Made In Bedrock

Fred gets a role in the movie The Monster From The Tar Pits.

A funny Season 1 episode. The star of the movie is Gary Granite, a spoof of Cary Grant, complete with an imitation of his voice. Fred is hired to be Granite's double and has to do all the hard stuff like getting hit with clubs and having boulders dropped on him.
