2nd best Green Acres episode

This is GA at it's finest! Oliver has to get his first crop of apples to market while they are priced at $4 per bushel....driving in a rickety truck a few hundred miles away to the State Capitol. Of course Oliver and Lisa have many pitfalls along the way....getting delayed by various mishaps while the radio blares out how the price of a bushel of apples is dropping like a stone. The scene where a state policeman talks like Hank Kimball is alone worth watching this episode....as well as a novel way to repair a blown head gasket on Oliver's truck. Eddie Albert shows why he was born to play Oliver Douglas.....always befuddled at the events around him and Ava Gabor with her not-so-subtle sarcastic remarks at Oliver's misfortunes.
