Immortal, Morgan d'Estaing, used gas in a jewelry store robbery. The police and Agent Delaney(from Unholy Alliance: Part 1 & 2) thinks it's Xavier St. Cloud. They bring in Duncan for help in the investigation.
Wow, Morgan's family were kinda a**holes weren't they? I mean the mother and bro stood there with smug looks as Morgan lost his inheritance. Morgan claims he loved them, but seems unattached. Maybe he was a psychopath and his family saw signs of something wrong with him. But still....the smug looks, hoo boy.
I can't stand Agent Delaney's Duncan-gaga-ness. I mean does every female that comes across his path have to go gaga over him? Just seems so sexist, as if saying women can't be professional. To top it off, no chem. I like the actress, but just no chem with Mac.
Morgan had the perfect opportunity to take Duncan's head when Duncan climbed up the ladder in the last fight. I mean what an opening!! But no. He didn't. That's one of the reasons I can't give this fight a great rating.
It was cool to see Xavier and see more of his history, as well as Duncan's. Duncan was there as a commander in the English army. My how the times have changed.
This episode had a more season 1 feeling. The pacing wasn't that great, Morgan was kind of a weak villain, and the story seemed rather weak. I gave it a 7/10
