Studying for the Bar
Hitchcoc17 April 2015
When a group of Greek soldiers start fighting a Turkish soldier at Rosie's Bar, she gets hurt. Even though they weren't complicit, the officers agree to run her bar (with Charles casting a dissenting vote). Two of the combatants go after each other in the hospital. The other plot has to do with Mulcahy getting passed over again for his Captain's bars. His file gets lost and Potter must tell him the news (although a great effort commences). There are scenes at the bar where the guys aren't all that competent. Charles causes several problems with his pomposity and condescending attitude, including his snubbing an MP who looks out for the bar.

Father Mulcahey applies for promotion...again!

Warning: Spoilers
There are many subplots in this episode. The main plot is Father Mulcahey seeking promotion and finally getting it! Hawkeye kindly handed over his captain's bars to the padre. John Orchard, who was Ugly John in season 1, returns in this episode, but as Muldoon. It just happens G. W. Bailey also returns, but not as Rizzo. He's billed in this episode as the G.I.

Rosie is injured in a bar brawl between Greeks and Turks, so the M*A*S*H gang help out while Rosie is recuperating.
