This episode demonstrates Hawkeye and BJ's commitment to Radar, as he undergoes surgery to remove his tonsils. I love the line from Sergeant Rhodes "It'll kill you" to Radar in response to stag films he's offering for a canvas bathtub.

How many times can you go to the same plot. Someone has something and everybody wants it. Hawkeye and B.J purchase a canvas bathtub from Abercrombie and Fitch. It is over a hundred degrees every day and the camp gets wind of the thing. Soon they are all horning in on the tub. This leads to more heat as they have to wait in line. Some of it is funny, but it's the same old thing that has been done at least five times from underwear to a mystery novel to a down jacket. Other plot elements have Radar needing to have his tonsils out and Klinger wearing heavy clothing (including a raccoon coat) in the intense heat, trying to show how crazy he is.
