Multiple Plots--Good Episode
Hitchcoc8 April 2015
Several things are going on at the unit. A group of wounded British soldiers are in the compound. It seems that they don't use helmets in battle. They also give tea to the wounded soldiers which sometimes leads to peritonitis. There is a soldier who is hooked on morphine who B.J. tries to get through withdrawal. Black marketeers steal all the unit's penicillin and Mulcahy and Klinger, from a tip from the confessional (for which the Father feels guilty), go about finding where the stolen medicine is and risk their lives to get it back. The other issue with the British is a captain who tells the boys to stop whining and get ready to go back into combat. That leads to an interesting conversation.

Mostly a good episode

Warning: Spoilers
Several things going on in this episode. There is a shortage of penicillin but thanks to a departing soldier Father Mulchay can obtain it. The problem he cannot reveal the confession and even gives Potter limited information while not revealing his source. Mulchay gets Klinger to go with him.

In the meantime Hawkeye crosses paths with a seemingly harsh Colonel from the British Army eventually they come to understand that each does care in their own way. BJ helps a patient kick morphine . Margaret flirts shamelessly with Winchester but panics when they may get caught in a compromising situation although basically innocent. I don't know why they bothered to have Margaret get married.

Mulchay and Klinger get the morphine at an abandoned school under fire. Klinger even ripped his best skit !

Margaret actually has a funny reaction to it when they return with the morphine asking Klinger " where's your skirt ?! " Overall a solid episode but I could have done without Margaret's flirting.

Carry on M*A*S*H

Warning: Spoilers
Father Mulcahy displays his shrewdness by getting his hands on penicillin stolen from the 4077th. Good on him! Also, we see some British solders (most of them played by American actors) attempting to put on English accents and talking about soccer (football). If this episode was rebooted I would want the British soldiers to be played by Danny Dyer, Ewan McGregor and anyone from the Harry Potter franchise.
