All sides of Thomas Magnum

This episode is great as unlike most 80s action shows it shows the realistic unfortunate consequences of car chases with bad guys. Through Magnum's actions an innocent girl is crippled.

Love how we see all aspects of Magnum personality in this one from tough avenging warrior to gentle giant with a conscience.

One of my favourites of the show.

Guest starring Talia Balsam

Warning: Spoilers
This episode of Magnum, P. I., guest stars Talia Balsam, who later married George Clooney, yes the George Clooney. Anyway, here Magnum shows his humane side by helping out Talia Balsam's character who he crashed into during the obligatory Magnum chase.

Kathleen Lloyd makes another guest appearance, and quite seriously, she has a resemblance to Rhea Perlman for sure.

We don't get much TC and Rick in this episode, and it was quite a talky episode with some emotion, one that Harold Pinter and Aaron Sorkin would be very proud of.

Tom Fujiwara appears as the doctor who treated Talia's character at the hospital.

Classic Magnum

Every episode in season 1 was like this one to some degree. The only thing missing from it is the helicopter. It was replaced with a car chase in a parkade.

One of the best episodes up to this point.

Best storyline in some time. Didn't rely on cheesy action shots, although it did provide some. One of the better acted as well.
