Cork Hubbert plays Waldo Norris, who is supposedly a CIA operative and quite large-than-life. Anyway, it's a shame this didn't become a spin-off series for Waldo Norris, that could have been called Waldo where he saves the world before dinner and a martini. Anyway, we don't see much of Thomas Magnum in this episode because he's stuck in the hospital for much of the episode, and even then he finds time to dine with a beautiful woman in his hospital room.
