The final scene of this episode is one of the high points of the series, and like the others it revolves around human vulnerability and generosity. It would not work without superlative writing and acting and here it delivers a gut punch.

When four girls are killed in the same apartment, all hands are on deck. This is in the wake of 9/11 and everyone has a short fuse. Andy is storming around like a crazy man. It isn't long before it becomes known that there are connections to Danny to be investigated. Once again drug money is at the center of one set of murders; the other involves someone getting too close to the mob.
