Add "nuchslep" to the list of Yiddish slang that fans learned from Fran, a phrase meaning "chaperone" when Maggie goes out on a date with James Marsden, the boy she was kissing in the first episode. Maxwell insists that Fran tag a long, leading to a very funny scene in the movie theater with an elderly Jewish couple. Fran Dresher's own Pomeranian, Chester, is seen for the first time, gifted to C.C. by Maxwell, and directed to growl at her while showering Fran with kisses. The dynamic of the friendship between Maggie and Fran is tested by Marsden's interest in Fran, or so it seems. Quite a memorable episode with lots of classic scenes.
