A handsome young guy develops a crush on Joanna. He loves to talk to her and do things for her. He even shows up in their bedroom to talk to her one night. Dick feels she is encouraging him and feels she needs to stop. He finally comes down hard on the guy and hurts his feelings. So he steps back and basically says he can do what he wants, since the kid is leaving in a couple days. There are two strange forces here. Joanna who reads stuff into everything. Dick uses the phrase "older woman." She thinks it means she is ancient. Dick has no subtlety and very little creativity. There is a bit of subplot as George charges Dick with coming up with a nickname for him for the Beaver's photo book (actually George refers to it as their Face Book). The reason George changes his mind is quite funny.

A teenage guest has a crush on Joanna, she has a hard time discouraging him but Dick does not.
A funny Season 6 opener with many good things going on. Stephanie is insulted that the boy has a crush on Joanna and not her. George asks Dick to help him come up with a nick name. The boy is played by Robert Macnaughton (he was the older son in E.T.). Dick at first tells him to knock it off, Joanna feels this is too harsh. Dick then tells the boy to start flirting again for more comical scenes.
