Two Legged Easel
Hitchcoc3 March 2023
Michael is up for a new contract and makes a series of ridiculous demands. In the end he is fired. He brags about an abundance of opportunities but soon falls into slovenly behavior, living at the Stratford. Stephanie has lost her cash cow. To make matters worse, Dick is his new replacement. The joys of this episode are the three guys who work for Dick. One has memory loss, one is lazy, and the third is an irresponsible kid, The paperwork is absolutely insurmountable. One of the funniest things is the prop man being asked to make a pointer for Dick because a photographer is going to be on the show. He gets a six foot long, 2 X 2 board. It's square and has no point.

Michael is fired

Michael is fired from the station when he makes outrageous demands.

A funny episode showing Michael on the skids. Dick is then made the producer of his own show, one of the best scenes is the meeting with his staff. Richard Stahl shows up as his deadpan production manager. Bud, the well meaning but inept prop man (played by Ralph Manza) makes his first appearance. There is a quick appearance by Larry and the Darryls, surprisingly they get no ovation when they make their entrance this time.
