This early exploration of white slavery is a good story well performed, especially by the women guest stars, the glamorous, continental Maria Palmer, who takes a shine to the protective Gil Favor, and voluptuous sweetie Karen Steele, who comes to rely on Rowdy's gallantry. Not least is Marion Ross, Richie Cunningham's future mother in "Happy Days", who gives an excellent dramatic portrayal as a woman left to die in the desert and driven over the edge of hysteria.
