Ralph Sneed, an escaped con is on the run and has a deadly contagious disease, he must be found before he spreads it.
Fair episode, not one of the best but a significant one. Gillis may be infected with the disease, since he came into contact with Sneed when the latter fainted in the street. Sneed is played by Anthony Zerbe, a great character actor. Due to his evil eyes and leering smirk, he mostly played slimy villains and creeps. Sneed is also looking for revenge on his wife (Bridget Hanley of "Here Come The Brides") who had turned him in to the police. This was Michael Ontkean's final episode in the series, so this is the last time we see Officer Willie Gillis. His final scene shows him in a hospital bed eating pie ala mode. As of this writing, this is also the last episode on DVD. There appears to be some problem with getting Seasons 3 and 4 released, not sure if it is legal or the shows are lost or deteriorated. I have not seen these shows since they were broadcast, so I can't recall all of them. If I ever get a chance to see them again, I will continue to review the episodes.
