A burglar is hiding in a locker and Mike does not see him. When a veteran cop is knifed and killed by the burglar, the cop's partner Buck Sanborn is angered at Mike for what he thinks is incompetence.
An excellent episode, one of the best of Season 2. Buck is played by veteran character actor Claude Akins (later became Sheriff Lobo). He has a great suspenseful scene at the end where it appears he may get revenge on Mike. Robert Walden plays the knife wielding thug, with his rodent like face and nasal voice, he makes a great creep. He would return to show and many other 70s shows in villain roles. He finally got a good guy role in "Lou Grant".
