SCTV Has A Spy
Jimmy_the_Gent45 June 2020
A very funny episode with guest Fred Willard.

The Great Escape-a new game show with Brock Linehan, contestants try to escape from locked trunks. Mrs Prickley stops the show because the script had been stolen.

Guy is seen relaxing and we see his thoughts, he can't decide if he should got to 7-11 or a wet T shirt contest. He wants see Barbra Streisand's new movie Yentl but no one will go with him. Mrs Prickley tells him about the stolen scripts and that there must be a spy at SCTV. Guy puts everyone under quarantine in barracks.

Hilarious commercial for Jerry Lewis singing Bob Dylan songs. He gets chased by a giant boulder singing Like A Rolling Stone.

In the barracks, Vic Hedges is getting cabin fever. Ed Grimley, Prini, Earl, along with Happy Hour host Happy Marsden (John Hemphill) are confined there. Fred Winston,(Willard) goes to see Yentl with Guy to get on his good side. Gus is the barracks guard. Guy and Fred are getting along very well in the cafeteria, so Fred convinces him to give him his own variety show. We get a funny promo with guests like Joan Baez (Andrea) interviews where Fred slaps people around. Fred gets special treatment from Guy the others beat him up accusing him of being the spy. The real one is uncovered and Fred tries to do a speech but the script was stolen too.
