Assignment Two: Part 6

There is some really good imagery here.

Steel has been wandering about wearing a classic tuxedo. There was a scene in a previous episode where he became a fighter pilot.

In this episode Steel is a soldier in world war one who is trapped in barbed wire. Now Sam Pearce can talk to Steel in his own terms.

Sapphire is in two places at once. In a comatose state in the waiting room with Tully after the seance was broken. Yet she also appears with the other ghosts telling Steel that neither the ghosts nor the darkness are a threat.

It is Tully's episode though. He talks to Sapphire, provide comfort to her and let the audience know more about him. The darkness offers him what looks like a way out of the waiting room. It means abandoning Sapphire and Steel.

There is so much atmosphere in what really is a low budget story with few sets. The pilot wanting to complete one flying mission so he can go on leave. They do not seem malevolent but the manner of their deaths irks the ghosts.

Very strong continuation.

Now armed with the name of the ghost, Sam Pearce, Steel sets about confronting the a very spirit, he also has to consider Sapphire, who appears to be lost.

Great atmosphere throughout, and some genuinely creepy scenes, it looks great, and compared to the previous episode, it picks up the pace, this one offers a lot for the viewer.

An excellent scene where Steel looks out onto the platform, and sees Sapphire's ghost appear, it was actually quite a chilling scene, it worked very well.

It poses a question ove never once thought of or considered, is it possible for a ghost of the living to appear, what an imaginative concept.

Perhaps the best episode of this second assignment, I thoroughly enjoyed it 8/10.
