Steve is sent to impersonate an eccentric scientist who is recruited by the Russians. He discovers they are working on a project involving a mind-reading computer, but time is running out on how long he can maintain the impersonation. Especially when the scientist he's impersonating breaks free.
A fairly average episode, actually it's quite slow-paced and boring in parts, but it gets a little exciting towards the end. Paul Mantee plays a hard lined villain who has his eye on Steve. Most of the tension comes from him as he's of a distrusting nature. The mind reading subject is interesting. There's a hot Russian scientist Steve gets to work with.
