The show does revolve around ESP as is the norm, but there's much more frantic action then what I'm used to, and that's a welcome change, although some questions went unanswered, which unfortunately, is also the norm for several episodes. Blame some sloppy editing this show is famous for, and that can sometimes ruin a solid episode, but I try to look past that; anyway, here we have Dr. Rhodes coming to the aid of an old student of his named Bonnie(Pamela Franklin), who's in the hospital because of a bad liver, but Rhodes figures out it's because she was poisoned, although I think she did it herself. This is where it gets a tad confusing(thanks to poor editing again), but we find out that Bonnie thought she was taking aspirin, but it was in fact, poison, that was meant for Jack Charleroi's(Michael Witney)wife, I think, but Bonnie is his girlfriend, I think. Pernell Roberts has a few effective scenes as Paul Pettigrew, who is also behind the murder plot of Jack's wife, the motive being that her excessive drinking is bringing down the company they work at, I think. Even though this seems like a negative review, there are some fast moving scenes and quick cuts that make this segment very interesting, although Bonnie's quick recovery after being told she was dying, was slightly baffling, but all's well that ends well, and this episode was still solid, although the many sloppy edits need to be mentioned.
