To start season four, Heather Locklear will join the cast as Caitlin Moore, the new campaign manager for Randall Winston's run for the Senate. But we learn on this first encounter, that she already knows how to play Mike Flaherty like a fine piano.
Mike has interviewed well known and experienced people for the job. But it seems that all want to do their own thing and keep Mike out of the loop. When Caitlin comes in for an interview, she plays up to Mike like she will need his help around every turn. But that is just a foil to get the job.
The first fire she put out is an embarrassing situation at Yankee Stadium. Roger Clemens had a perfect game going until Mayor Winston caught a ball that would have been the last out of the game. Now the Mayor's in hot water with all the fans. Caitlin will put all her knowledge to work to hopefully bring an end to the Mayor's troubled situation.
This was a nice way to bring in a new character into the show. Ms Locklear was brought into the show not only as another character to play off Mike but also help take some of the burden off Michael J Fox. This show was nice enough and there was some fine acting. Anytime you introduce another character to a regular cast there is going to be some rough spots. There were very few in this production.
