Hattie has a new cat called Tiddles, Eric isn't impressed, even less impressed is new neighbour Major Crombie-Crombie who's issued a warning about the young feline messing on his garden.
Packed with funny scenes, this is a very funny, classic episode. The scene with the television and Eric on the roof is a belly laugh moment, the lineup is side splitting, it has some sharp one liners, and some genuinely memorable moments.
I'd forgotten just how physically Sykes was, he knew how to make people laugh.
It's great to see husband and wife duo John Harvey and Diana King, each well known for serious drama television roles, but bothe equally as good in comedy, she had a real pedigree, with countless credits. Not the only time they appeared on screen together, if you're a fan of murder mysteries check out Francis Durbridge's A Game of Murder, they appear as a married couple there too.
Great to see Corky.
8/10.
