An Incredible Head-Spinner

Warning: Spoilers
Ann Marie is wrapped up in her first vote and Donald tries to tell her she is being over-enthusiastic about it, but she is like a bull in a china shop. Interest or concern over politics is one thing, but Donald is making preparations to go to Ann's parents for Halloween and Ann?

"Donald, what is your opinion on migratory workers?"

She persists like this, finally having it out with her father for not stating what party she registered with. They end up neglecting Halloween trick-or-treaters and for some ODD reason, Lew keeps slamming the door in the kids faces.

Watching this episode was like watching the groundwork being laid out for All In The Family; argument for arguments sake.

Before long, Ann and Lew were tossing around words like 'defending your opinion' and 'right to privacy'.

In the end, the episode concluded (after tidbits of Ann forgetting her purse with her keys in them, so they go back to her parents and attempt climbing thru the window) with Lew saying he raised his independent daughter to make up her own mind, or Ann trying to be more obliging to her and she will vote for whoever he wants her to.

But the blind obsession the two characters displayed was truly astonishing, and if nothing else, shows how politics can be handled incorrectly and how it fails.
