Ida's taken Wilfred's advice and placed her money on a bet, having already spent the winnings Ida is furious to discover the Horse didn't even finish. To recoup the losses Wilfred suggests another dead cert 'Parsons Pleasure.' Wilfred takes a shine to Mrs Price.
Wilfred has become a fabulous character, he's gotten funnier and funnier and had some great lines, Harold Goodwin was a really funny guy, his timing was great.
It's a fun episode, similar in a way to Upstairs Downstairs Upstairs Downstairs from Steptoe and Son, perhaps not quite as funny, but still an enjoyable outing. A nice way to sign off Series three.
7/10.
