Johnny Crawford plays young Eric Paine in this episode. Of course, he's best remembered for his role of Mark McCain on The Rifleman. He is a very good actor and almost broke my heart when he said, "I know my mother's dead."
This is a very good episode. It's pretty predictable and shows the human side of Hoby. Hoby may not have looked like a very big, strong man but he sure did know how to get his point across!!!
