Cyrano de Horshack
kevinolzak29 June 2016
"Has Anybody Seen Arnold?" was a one hour broadcast, beginning with Epstein impersonating Kotter, before the real McCoy suggests the Sweathogs try out for the drama festival school play. Naturally, movie buff Horshack is dying to star as Cyrano de Bergerac, which essentially tells Arnold's life story. Roxanne will be played by Judy Borden (Helaine Lembeck), who objects to performing opposite a Sweathog: "I'd rather be stuck in a shopping cart and run through a car wash!" After a merciless round of overacting, coupled with accurate ribbing from his fellow Sweathogs, Arnold disappears, leaving Barbarino to take his place as Cyrano, speaking those famous words: "Stella!" An easy choice for weakest multi-part episode. A brief performance on stage from pretty actress Barbara Deutsch, the wife of actor Michael Lembeck, which made her the sister-in-law of Helaine, making one of her last appearances as Judy Borden.
