"Horshack and Madame X" opens with Arnold wallowing in self pity after being dumped by yet another girl, with Melonie Haller finally making her last appearance as Angie Grabowski after a meager seven episodes. Julie makes such a positive impression with her support that the naïve Horshack falls for her, waiting for her husband to depart before making the moves on the housewife and mother of twins. When she greets her paramour at the door, just out of the shower with still wet hair, their confrontation is a bit awkward to say the least. Horshack would have to wait for the next season before he can handle true love, if that, though there were few viewers remaining to watch.
