An unusually flat episode (I think the villains are to thank for that) that sees Sledge having to do the job without his treasured Magnum. Rasche makes the most of it, playing Hammer at his lowest and wracked with self-doubt - but the best scene is Hammer's almost slapstick conversation with a bartender. It's a memorable exchange.
