This episode introduces the Marshall Family and the audience to Enik, an Altrusian, a race that came before The Sleestak. More advanced than The Sleestak.
This episode was written by Walter Koenig(pronounced Kaynig) of Star Trek The Original Series fame. Koenig is the second Star Trek alum to write an episode for this series. And a well written one at that.
Once again, actor Walker Edmiston guest stars this time as Enik. He previously guest starred as JD Collie, confederate soldier.
In this episode Will and Holly get bored waiting for their dad and come across a cave entrance that leads to Enik's lair. They lead Enik, along with Rick to the Lost City. Once there it is revealed that Enik has the power to send himself back to his time, but not The Marshalls. This leads to a fight in which Enik wins, and The Marshalls have to find another way home. Enik will make future appearances with a surprise close to the end of season one. Great episode. 10 stars.
