An Amazing Story
ccthemovieman-126 January 2010
A lot of people may know Aileen Wuornos through the movie, "Monster," in which Charlize Theron so memorably portrayed her. Well, this program offers a look into the real person, the famous female serial killer.....and it's an amazing story.

You can't help but watch this and almost feel sorry for the woman, although there no justification for murder.....and she did it seven times! In the end, she had no qualms about deserving the death penalty.

As documented here in this program, Wuornos led a rough life, to say the least. That, and some obvious sexual problems she had from the age of 10 on, led her into dark territory quickly, one in which she never recovered.

Well, there no sense going into her whole history; you can read it on the Internet, or in books or even see the film, "Monster. I will say it was a shock to see Wuornos' real-life lesbian partner "Tyria Moore" who didn't look anything like Christina Ricci, who played her in that film. At least Theron's makeup made her look pretty similar to Wournos.

This Biography episode had a number of interesting facts and opinions (from friends of hers, relatives, lawmen and lawyers) that all contributed to a fascinating hour-long show. When it was over, frankly, I still didn't quite know what to make of this controversial woman. Her whole story makes you shake your head in wonder.
