I choose Bones
mitchrmp13 July 2016
In this episode, a teenage boy's body is found and the team works to figure out who killed him. Cam and Brennan clash over how to handle the investigation. The fact that a foster child is involved makes things even more tense for Brennan. The story, as it usually does, goes through many twists and turns before the truth is finally revealed.

Booth let's Cam no in no uncertain terms that he is on Bones' side - all the way. The look on his face when he tells her where he stands his very well done. If looks could kill... I love the relationship between Booth and Bones. I don't think there is a strong bond out there...

This is a rare episode where it doesn't end with Booth and Bones, but with a rather surprising pair...(and Hodgins let's his feelings known to someone special!)

The song at the end of The boy in the shroud
mariana_malm8 November 2006
The song at the end of the episode 'Boy in the shroud' is Bring on the wonder with Susan Enan. It's quite a lovely song. I've tried to download it but haven't found it yet on the net.

As for the show in general. I just love it!! At first I thought it would be difficult to see DB as something else than Angel but I find it now rather easy to see him more as agent Booth and the other. He fits the role so perfectly!! And the chemistry between him and Bones are just wonderful. Spot on!!

So, hopefully the show will stay on the air for a long time and have some twits - preferably ending with a relationship between Booth and Bones.

great episode

Warning: Spoilers
There was a blooper that made into the actual episode and it's described on the goofs session.. Cam says Kevin Dylan's DNA and then Bones says Kevin Duncan.. I guess nobody in the production noticed that.

But still I find it funny that Bones always mocks Booth when he gets religious or has some pre conceived ideas about something... but when it comes to foster kids, she gets extremely emotional and has no problems making conjectures about the case.

The best part was Booth telling Cam he's on Bones side.. hell yeah lol.

Hey Bones Booth!
queen_of_drama-345863 April 2021
This episode was good but didn't enjoy how people who live on the street were painted as mostly junkies and criminals including the victim who clearly wasn't. Whether Kelly was alive and ok or not Booth should know better than to than to make promises to her brother before knowing for sure. Hahaha Zack knowing Hodgins Shakespeare quote down to the act but not understanding it was great. Loved Bones lines "We're not gunna hurt you. Ok I hurt you a little bit but you ran." Glad Cam and Bones finally had a heart to heart at the end because yes Bones she's your new boss and she's more hands on you'll have to find a way to get along. Although the loyalty showed by Angela and Booth saying they'd all walk in Bones did was sweet. Murder is never the answer but I can't fully blame Frances preying on young girls is pretty heinous.

They find a dead teen in a shroud in a dump and the search is on
charlayned13 September 2006
The boy is found dead. His rich parents blame the girlfriend he has, a girl from foster care. Tempest and Cam clash on what needs investigated next and the "squints" let Cam know where she stands.

Tempest still doesn't relate to people outside of forensics but she is beginning to understand some of it with Booth's help. Both of them have "baggage" which was set up last season and now I think we will see much more examination and overcoming of that baggage.

I love "Bones" for all the forensics stuff but also for the interplay between the characters. One new interplay has started, one that is interesting and bears watching.

There was a song at the end that I loved and I want to know what it was and if it's available on CD. Can anyone tell me?

Tension, party of two Warning: Spoilers
Between the disparaging of foster kids, Cam and Bones' conflict, and the killer being a kid who was scared that the one person in his life was leaving him, I struggled with this episode.

While we got Bones' insider perspective into the foster system and got to learn more about that part of her history, there was so much going on throughout the episode that I feel like some stuff got lost. There was the investigation, the B plot about Cam and Bones clashing, a sub-B plot where Hodgins and Angela have some random ~bonding~ moments sprinkled in, a pervert getting killed by his wife, and a discussion about the foster care system. I'm so glad that Cam and Bones' relationship starts to get better at the end of the episode because it has been rough watching them hash it out.

Things to note: looking at Hodgins in his garbage outfit made me actually nauseous. Bones just quietly raising her hand while Cam and Angela were having a bonding moment about first loves and the slo-mo scene of Hodgins giving Angela a rose were both hilarious to me. Alex just saying "Sorry, about Dylan" and Kelly's face afterwards 😬.

A line I loved: When it comes to bugs, slime, crud, and compost you're the man

Hi the Bones Booth :)

Keep better and better
azrin-220 September 2006
The song played at the end of the episode was "Bring on the Wonder" by Susan Enan. I think Bones Season 2 is getting better and better because there's a lot of creative things happened in every episode plus the song in every episode are totally pleasurable. The thing is if you like this kind of series better watch it ASAP. Different than CSI, more intriguing than CSI:Miami and more great ideas in every episode. Wish they will produced an album of the soundtrack from season 1 till now because i kinda like it very much. Good choice of songs and great cast. Good job for the crew. Keep it up! One more thing about this show is you won't miss a single moment of it because it is important.

Extensive Dumpster Diving
Hitchcoc18 January 2023
Sometimes this show like to try to gross us out. Here it is the beginning, when a body is found in a dumpster. It is that of a young guy who, it seems, died in a fifty foot fall. There are three or four other unsavory moments. The episode itself, however, is quite good. The focus is on the rigors of the foster system. The boy in question was having a relationship with a girl who has been in the system since her parents suddenly died. The hardest part is entering a sort of closed society surrounding street kids in a tough part of D. C. A significant subplot is the struggle between Cam and Brennan. There is even a threat to fire Brennan. Cam comes off pretty lame. But it's a sad episode with no real winners.
