Amazing film that should be shared with the world!

I just had the pleasure of viewing this film at the 1st annual Fallbrook Film Festival, and let me just say that I was deeply moved by this film, and also engrossed in the action the entire time.

For one, the direction was phenomenal. The writing, the cinematography, and the overall tone of the movie was superb. Hakimi seems like a natural auteur of cinema, and there is no reason why he shouldn't be recognized for his talent in the indie film industry. The pacing of the movie was absolutely flawless - I never ONCE felt like the movie dragged. I also admired the editing and how straight cuts to black were utilized to inspire an emotional response within the viewer.

Secondly, the acting in this film was top notch. The best acting hands down goes to Katie Bowers who delivers line after line filled with the perfect balance of emotion and and intensity. She is lighthearted and pleasant, and then doesn't fail to deliver at being dramatic and serious. Mr. Herolz should also be recognized for his acting, as well as Hakimi who makes a cameo as Ernest. But like I said, all actors did fantastic in this - ALL of them.

The music is another thing that I really enjoyed in this movie. I had the pleasure of being in Mr. Hakimi's presence tonight while he answered some questions, and I learned that he had edited the whole movie without music, and then sent it to someone he knew to score it. Obviously this produced amazing results, because the music matched exactly to the tone of the film. Kudos to the composer and to Hakimi for working so well together.

I felt very satisfied when this film was over with. In fact, when it was over, I wanted to see more! But I thought the ending fit perfectly, and like I said, I was satisfied. This movie is definitely a top notch low budget film that everyone should have the joy of seeing. Bravo Freddy Hakimi, and I hope to see more from you!
