I was surprised to see that there were no real wedding scenes. Just a little bit before they went outside to the ceremony. I felt gypped that we did not see Gary and Val at the wedding when Miss Ellie Southworth Ewing became Miss Ellie Southworth Ewing Farlow. Miss Ellie always had a soft spot for Gary, and I figured that she would have made sure that Gary and Val were there when she married Clayton Farlow, or at least mentioned them. I also thought that Dusty & his wife would be there, even after that call from Jessica. I am sure someone would have called Dusty back and explained that the wedding was still to go on. They should have had wedding scenes other than what they had, a drink toasting the bride & groom, then Lucy, Sue Ellen, & Donna going ahead, then Miss Ellie coming down the stairs and talking to J. R. & Bobby. Not even a mention by Miss Ellie of Gary missing the wedding. Very disappointing.
