Biblical based episode explores the legend of Noah, who, on the explicit instructions of God, built a massive ark to house two(male & female) of every animal species in the world, which he was going to ravage by fierce and relentless floods in order to punish a wicked humanity. Noah accomplished his goal, and survived to repopulate the Earth, and give people a second chance...whether or not the viewer accepts the bible story as myth or historical fact, and indeed if humans have lived up to be worthy of this second chance, will of course depend on their own beliefs, but authentic-looking and compelling presentation is certainly worth viewing on its own.

In Search Of... "Noah's Flood" (1979)
This episode follows some scientists who are trying to prove whether or not the Biblical tale of Noah and the flood actually happened. The scientists believe that finding out if this is true or not could be one of the biggest discoveries in histories as it could rule out evolution as well as give us a better understanding of how the world operates. This is a fairly entertaining episode for the series, although I'm sure the subject will likely form some of the strongest debates. The scientists all seem to think that the flood actually happened but they disagree on when it was and of course if the story of Noah actually happened.
