This is a rather nice biography documentary about Elvis. Constructed from a lot of old tv and movie clips, complete with a narration, it becomes an enjoyable journey following the life and times of the King. But it's quite superficial. Early singles are mentioned, then a lot of movies he starred are listed, but there is nothing about his albums or later singles. Of course it is limited how much material can you fit into one documentary, but as a fan of Elvis' music I was a little bit disappointed to notice there was very little talk about the music itself. But of course Elvis is such an interesting character that the movie is not boring either. I reviewed earlier "Rare Moments with the King" (both from the same Elvis dvd series from GoodTimes) which wasn't very good, but this one was better, mainly because of the narration holds it together. Probably not the best Elvis dvd but ok stuff.
