The whole short is available here on the Internet Movie Database, so I decided to check it out.
A very effective horror claymation by Michael Granberry, better known by his stop-motion adaptation of the Lovecraft's short tale "From Beyond".
In just a bit more than five minutes, Granberry is able to build an intense atmosphere of tension, where the family conflict quickly escalates from a psychological drama to pure horror thanks to the irruption of a supernatural element at the end.
There is enough potential here for a full feature length film, especially considering the cliffhanger ending. The uncertain fate of the family definitely adds to the suspense factor, though.
