Blair Witch believable, at times even more painful to watch
deharris8 April 2007
Warning: Spoilers
After about 20 minutes of the movie I was thoroughly convinced that it was for real.

The *improvised* characters are absolutely hilarious and the fact that they keep up the charade the whole 72 minutes is just incredible.

Bringing seriously important issues to the fore, this is a piece that is both scary and hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.

See this film if you can get a hold of it and watch it with a bunch of people that you make sure don't know that it's scripted/improvised.

The basic gist of the story is that a Christian Improv troupe decides to take their work on the road to a festival in Toronto. Their infighting and conflicts about their gay troupe member, pre-marital sex, Jesus, hell, etc. make for a whole lot of really really hilarious moments. Characters are extremely well developed and totally believable until the end. It really seriously hurts to watch at times because the conflicts and the stupidity of the characters seems soooo real.
