The show opens with a segment that was recorded "earlier that day", where Mr. Perfect attacked Shawn Michaels. The "live" portion of the show starts with Bam Bam Bigelow facing Typhoon in a King Of The Ring qualifier match. A vignette informs us that the Smoking Gunns are coming. Yokozuna squashes P.J. Walker (Justin Credible). Gene Okerlund gives us the King of the Ring Report. Mr. Perfect faces little competition from Iron Mike Sharpe. Mr. Hughes makes short work of the Cannonball Kid (Sean Waltman). The main event, which goes on for several segments, is Shawn Michaels defending the Intercontinental Championship against Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a lumberjack match. The match isn't bad, but who ever heard of a lumberjack match ending in a disqualification?
