The show opens with the NWO having been assaulted backstage. Hollywood Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Randy Savage go to the ring to complain about it. The first match is Eddie Guerrero defending the Cruiserweight Championship against Chris Benoit. Goldberg makes short work of Wrath. Steve McMichael faces Mortis. Gene Okerlund interviews Mongo after the match. We see a Raven vignette. Mike Tenay's Lucha Libre report this week is about Rey Mysterio, Jr. Juventud Guerrera takes on Yugi Nagata. The Giant faces Damian and Los Villanos in a handicap match. Disco Inferno defends the TV Title against Rey Mysterio, Jr. Hogan, Savage and Bischoff come out to the ring again and cut a promo on Roddy Piper, DDP and Piper. Curt Hennig defends the United States Championship against Dean Malenko. Ray Traylor takes on Scott Norton. Lex Luger faces Booker T. Gene Okerlund interviews Luger after the match. The main event is Scott Steiner versus Scott Hall. The show ends with Hollywood Hogan, Randy Savage and Eric Bischoff coming out to the ring and calling out Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page and Sting again. An okay episode.
